Description
Satin Photo Paper Print of the original 3ft x 3 1/2ft Oil Painting Titled Planets and Pearls. An Extensive painting inspired by the beauty of nature right at the end of sunset. A time when the world feels a little like a dream where all things are possible and hopes of something better can be restored in all of us.
The painting is meant to be a recognizable scene of water and rolling pastures in one perspective but when flipped upside down (or perhaps right side up) it is a much surrealistic mountain scene of chaotic energy and an uncertainty of what’s next. Because of this Adam looks at it as a bit of a two for the price one. The name holds another layer of message to this work where we are meant to question the value of everything( ei. Planets, and pearls). This is another reason why the work is meant to be flipped and seen from a new perspective, in one view planets in the sky are seen as highest(most important) in the other perspective the pearls are seen at the very top instead.
